As a True Master Colorist, Megan has enjoyed working behind the chair, but also as a hands-on international hair artist and trainer. She seeks perfection in the process of placing and applying hair color that she formulates herself. Megan was fortunate to have been trained as a cutter at Vidal Sassoon, Boston prior to focusing her training with them as a color specialist. As a refresher, in October 2017, she completed a Comprehensive Cutting Class with Sally Rogerson, former Sassoon Academy Creative Director. In July 2019, she completed another comprehensive cutting course with Jay Mahmood, former Sassoon educator in London who now teaches precision cutting around the world, with his own education company. Megan is thrilled to have relocated to Florida and loves serving the Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach area and beyond!
More about Megan:
Megan was born in South Africa and spent many of her formative years overseas. As a child in the 1980’s, she was living in London where the punk culture was at its peak. It was there that the creative and often outrageous hairdos with vibrant colors burned themselves in her memory and where she first developed abiding interest in the “art of hair” and an appreciation as well as a fine eye, for the use of color.
Starting her career at Vidal Sassoon Salon in Boston, Megan worked and trained with extremely talented and generous professionals, including Richie Rivera, the North American Color Director for Vidal Sassoon. She transferred to Vidal Sassoon Atlanta in 2005. From 2008, she was the Head of the Color Department at Soren Salon in Buckhead, Atlanta, GA. Megan opened her own Salon Studio in Sandy Springs, GA in October 2013 and operated it there until her move to Florida in January 2017. From 2017 to August 2020, Megan provided her services at Bei Capelli Salon in Daytona Beach, FL.

From 2009 through 2014, she represented the prestigious Italian company throughout North America as an educator. Megan has worked international hair shows in places like Italy, Paris, Miami, New York and London. She served as a judge for the World Style Contest at the Worldwide Hair Tour in Paris (2013) and in London (2014).
